1. Engagement & Contracting
BuildNerd Technologies executes custom software development, system integration, and engineering consulting engagements under signed statements of work (SOW) defining clear deliverables, technical specifications, timelines, and payment milestones.
2. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Upon complete settlement of agreed contractual fees for a given milestone or project, full ownership of bespoke application code, configurations, and tailored logic transfers to the client, subject to standard open-source library licenses incorporated within the deliverables.
3. Scope & Change Management
All software projects adhere to the discovery specification agreed upon before sprint kickoff. Additional feature requests or architectural expansions outside the initial scope will be evaluated, estimated, and scheduled via mutual written addendums to preserve delivery predictability.
4. Warranties & Maintenance
BuildNerd provides structured stabilization periods following production releases to resolve defect tickets directly related to the contracted specifications. Ongoing SLA maintenance agreements are available for continuous infrastructure monitoring, database tuning, and iterative feature enhancements.
5. Jurisdiction
These terms and related commercial service agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of West Bengal, India.
