Desktop apps

Desktop application development. Built for your workflow.

Purpose-built desktop applications for Windows, macOS, or Linux, with focused interfaces and dependable local workflows.

The challenge

Your work needs more than a browser tab: local files, keyboard-driven tasks, or a reliable experience on the desktop.

Our approach

We agree on the target operating systems and how the application should work with local data and connected services. Then we design, build, and test a desktop experience that fits those requirements.

What we can deliver

  • Desktop architecture and interface design
  • Application for the agreed operating systems
  • Local storage, file handling, and integrations as scoped
  • Installer packaging, testing, and handover documentation

A good fit for

  • A specialist desktop utility
  • A local-first application for daily work
  • A desktop companion for an existing product

Scope before estimates

What shapes the cost?

Desktop estimates depend on the operating systems, local files and devices, storage, synchronisation, installation, and update requirements. We scope those behaviours alongside the interface, and identify risky integrations that need a prototype before a larger build.

Based in West Bengal, India. Remote collaboration with a clear scope, review milestones, and agreed handover.

Planning your project

Questions before the build.

Which desktop operating systems can the project support?

Windows, macOS, or Linux support can be planned according to the project. Each supported operating system needs packaging and testing, so we agree on versions, hardware, and deployment requirements before development.

Can my desktop application work offline?

Offline workflows can be scoped. We define which actions work locally, how data is stored and backed up, and what happens when connectivity returns. Synchronisation and conflict handling are separate requirements that need deliberate design.

Can the app use local files or connected devices?

Local file handling and device integrations depend on available APIs, permissions, and the target environment. We evaluate the exact requirements and may prototype the integration before finalising the implementation plan.

What is included in the desktop handover?

The proposal defines the source-code ownership terms, installer, configuration notes, documentation, and support. Installation, backup, recovery, and update responsibilities should all be clear before launch.

Working together

A process you can follow.

  1. 01

    Understand

We learn about your users, goals, and target platforms, then agree on the first release worth building.

    A shared problem statement
  2. 02

    Design

We turn the requirements into a clear scope, interface direction, and delivery plan.

    A plan you can review
  3. 03

    Build

You see working software in regular reviews, with testing alongside development.

    Visible, incremental progress
  4. 04

    Launch & support

We deploy, document, and help your team adopt the system, with support agreed upfront.
